Situado junto a la rotonda Dar\u00edo de Regoyos de Neguri (Avenida de Leioa n\u00ba2), el inmueble es\u00a0propiedad de la familia del ilustre arquitecto Manuel Mar\u00eda Smith, creador de innumerables construcciones en el municipio de Getxo, Bilbao y otras localidades.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El pasado 2 de junio de 2015 la junta de Gobierno de Getxo concedi\u00f3 a D. Fernando Smith Alarc\u00f3n de la Lastra en representaci\u00f3n de Burdin Bidarte, S.A. licencia\u00a0para efectuar dichas obras de rehabilitaci\u00f3n que durar\u00e1n 18 meses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El\u00a0edificio ser\u00e1 totalmente renovado aunque manteniendo en la medida de lo posible su aspecto exterior. Pasar\u00e1 a tener 10 viviendas, junto con la implantaci\u00f3n de 4 oficinas en la planta baja, as\u00ed como la ocupaci\u00f3n de parte del subsuelo de la parcela para realizar un garaje que albergue 19 plazas de aparcamiento.
